Re: DLC Replacers & Sterling's New Stuff
You mean a retexture or an entirely new model? I could do a banshee based harlequin model some time in the future. Though I intended a Striking Scorpion as my next project. I know they're not in the game and the chances they will be aren't high, but I could eventually give the models to the Codex Ed...

Re: IS there a good reason why...
This issue has already been discussed in another thread. The reason why it blocks all types of incomming damage is because of the coding. Anything under the shields protection won't take damage. There have to be some vectors in play since shooting at the unit from the same side of the shield works a...

I wasn't entirely sure what a bootstrap was. I assumed it's this. If not then this is what I meant.

Re: New theme
smilies.png Some are easier to see than others. They'll probably need a few adjustments. But first we need to figure out how the rest of the smilies will look, Otherwise we won't use them anyway. Regardinge the theme, I personally prefer the bootstrap not following me and I really don't like the sc...

Colorized variants. smilies.png :) :|  :P :3 :( They don't necessarily need to be colorized. They'll just be easier to distinguish once reduced to the final size. The last ork head is a variant of , obviously. But I like the plague marine version better, so I'll have ...

Yeah. It's not my favorite tool but in this case it's the best one to use imo.
EDIT:
I just noticed the new background. Looks cool. Not very Warhammer-like but very stylish.
MORE EDITING:
I'm not really happy about these three. Drawing ork faces sucks.

If possible add the feature that shows you which threads you read and which ones not. I'm kinda lost without it.
Also, despite the new fancy look we still have the same old crappy looking smilies

Agreed. His feet do seem strangly small. Adjust that, add some claws, tubes and whatnot to his right hand and he'll be perfect. He's good already. A job well done.

Re: Fire prism shield upgrade increasing its durability
The examle of Knob you stated is really an issue of the Rokkit Louncha or what it's called and him being able to infiltrate making an OP combo. He can take out a Prism in 2 shots but he can take out a Pred in 3 just as easily. I agree with Ace. Ideally your opponent shouldn't even see the Prism itse...

Re: Dawn of War - Contribution
Just an update from me. The banshee model will take a bit longer to finish because damn Photoshop crashed while saving and corrupted the file, which means I have to rework the texture from scratch. I also solved a problem I've been having for ages. If you happen to bake textures in the future and st...

Not likely. Oclusion maps add shadows, his head practically glows. I think it's the emi map. But I could be wrong of course.

Re: More complex army painter colors
@Orkfaeller: I was actually thinking more in a way of having a color slot containing multiple hues of that color in a camouflage like manner rather than having to combine the two slots to make it work that way. But you gave me an idea. I'll make some tests and let you know what I come up with. EDIT:...

More complex army painter colors
The army painter always seemed boring to me, only being able to choose plain colors. Would it be possible to implemet different textures such as camouflage? I don't know how the army painter works exactly but I know it overlays the diffuse and specular maps, so changing or adding these should theore...

At last, after over half a year I'm back in business. Which means I'll finally get to finish the stuff I had for Elite and hopefully start something new as well. In the short while I've had the chance to work I made some progress on the Banshee model from so long ago. I posted a preview here: http:/...

Re: DLC Replacers & Sterling's New Stuff
Anyway to answer your original post you could most likely copy/paste the fx marker from the HQ model to the LR model. Thats how I put the Storm Bolter fx on the Apo's CSB so I presume it'd work in this case as well.

Re: WSE heavy gauge death spinner + improved targeters
As was mentioned before he's quite strong in his vanilla form as well thanks to the fact that both his ranged and melee attacks hurt. MB's melee attack is basicaly used just to tie a unit up while WSE can own most ranged squads in melee. How about removing his melee resist and giving it back to him ...

In 1v1 10 power seems as quite a lot. In team games though it's no big deal. Hard to say how things will turn out, so yeah, we'll see.

Adrenal Rush rework
I just realized Genestealers get healed by hitting vehicles and even structures. Would it break their balance if they got healed only by hitting living creatures? It makes more sense that way imo. Not worth the trouble of rebalancing anything, though.

Have you tried 'Reset XForm'? I don't know why but I've often, not everytime though, run into a problem where I couldn't see anything in game. Applying this on the mash before the skin modifier fixed it.
