every tool tip that has been changed since retail shows random numbers and letters. is there anyway i can download a lua file or something and fix thius?

Gameassets>locale

You have 2 folders, one in english and one in your own language, take the Elite_beta.ucs from the english folder and paste them in the folder with your language, overwrite the old files, done.

english is the only folder i have. i did what u said and it still has this no range bullshit. i honestly dont play gk because i cant use any of there abilities

Either another mod (or a leftover UCS file from another mod) interferes with it, or the UCS has been corrupted somehow (I remember this happening occasionally in the CR era). Delete unnecessary UCS and/or reinstall Elite I guess.
