Re: how to play sm?
Play chaos instead CHAOS IS POWER! CHAOS IS VICTORY!! /serious For team games you gotta be the glue of your team, the SM army is not made to kill tons of models and do DAMAGE, instead they're made to initiate and counter initiate engagements. Start the fights with ASM so sluggas/hormas/banshees can ...

plague sword alone makes the SM regreat getting ASMs, specially with those zombies being so retarded strong they can also jump and disrupt

Re: Patch 2.3.1 (Tentative balance changelog preview)
Caeltos, warpath is stacking with itself. This has no impact in 1v1 but in 3v3 you can get 60% damage mitigation and 6 speed.. you get the idea

why FoS has all this issues and the tracking skill from raptors doesnt? Or raptor's skill got the same problems and it's a game's engine thingy?

Re: Catachans vs Spotters
i think catachans do good even against nobs, but ofc, sluggas are actually deadlier than nobs except against vehicles
Against double hormagaunts or double shees or seer council is really not advice to try and melee with catachans

Re: Patch 2.3.1 (Tentative balance changelog preview)
IG has execution, LttE, LG melta buff and Sniper buff. Not to mention the shield for HWT which grants immunity to KB and 50% ranged damage reduction. LG melta buff doesnt apply to autocannons, they have no cooldown. LC could get flak jacket and lose execution but that's going somewhere else. My poi...

Re: Patch 2.3.1 (Tentative balance changelog preview)
Why are carnifexes getting a reduction in their pop?. Nids already are very forgiving on pop cap I'd like a revision on khorne's havoc dps. 45 dps on that autocannon does overperform. In comparison HWT autocannons have 36 dps. That means khorne havoc have 25% more dps and chaos have actually more wa...

Re: Ork Banners/Slugga/Weirdy too much?
if warpath really stacks with itself it need to get fixed. Lol at +6 speed +60% damage resistance +45% melee damage. And making not able to stack with itself wouldn't even change 1v1 balance

Re: IST, too much of one thing?
I disagree. IST scale pretty freaking good into late t3, sometimes even better than scouts... they can repair, detect and they get weapon upgrades that scale well into t3 Nade launchers are awesome, dunno why people underestimate them. I think there's a reason why Caeltos nerfed them not so long ago...

Re: IST, too much of one thing?
non upgraded scouts dont come close to tacs in terms of dps. where as non upgraded ist do come close and depending on the situation surpass the strikes. Actually.. 210 per scout squad that gives u almost 22 dps vs 450 per tac squad that gives u 44.5 dps. 2 scout squads will give you the same dps as...

i'm saying a leveled FC is 95% of the time better than a terminator FC... and that 5% comes exclusively from the heavy flamer
In other words, i'd agree with Ace's statement 19 out of 20 times

with the overabundance of plasma damage and the FC terminator having only HI armor i think Ace is right. A lvl 4ish fully kitted FC most likely will be better than the FC terminator
Ofc, there are always those special cases where the heavy flamer will make the difference where nothing else would.

Re: Drop Pod - Make up your mind
I always thought it was a bad idea, but a lot of people liked it when Caeltos opened a threat about it before 2.3 release Certantly what you want from the global is the drop pod for the ability to reinforce on the field without having to retreat back to base, the extra tac squad most likely will mes...

DD and needs a major nerf, TG a minor one. I think Battlewaggon also needs some minor nerfing
i Still think weirdboy and painboy are OP and i think chaos now is has absolutely no weak spots, but that hasn't been an issue yet... I just wish havocs weren't so freaking strong

totally agreed here. Tho i'd say that SS scales as good as tacs into t3, ofc TCSM and SG do scale way better than both

Srsly all their statistics except health (which is the exact same) and i mean melee dps. Melee skill and Range dps are superior than tacticals Sure they can't beat shees in melee (they shouldn't) but they cab actually stand up to them.. With tacs/csm if you don't retreat right before shees get in me...

would be way too common since all RA players would encounter it whenever they put gaunts in tunnels to quick reinforce. I've seen 9/9 gaunt squads but that's because one of the endless swarm models died and can be repurchased. It used to bug out when they had warrior leaders and both endless swarm g...

sounds like you should learn how to play other races before QQing for whatever reason about GK not being a cake walk Anyway, DD and WL with BL are still fishy IMO with melee resist. has to be leaders, because gaunt squads don't have this issue
