Kocha's Best of the Worst Extravaganza - 1v1 Initiate Tournament

Hello all and welcome to the inaugural initiate tournament, hopefully the first of many! Seeing so many promising new players around recently, it's my goal to promote competition and improvement among those just coming to grasps with the mechanics of the game. This tourney should be both a fun learning experience and a chance to get your blood pumping and see what competition is really like!
Tourney Date: Saturday January 29, at 7:00 CST/13:00 GMT
How do I join? Link your ESL profile and your steam profile in the thread below! To ensure proper placement in the tournament, all players must have 10 games on ESL within the last month. If after review your skill level remains unclear, we may ask you to play a game with a ref to establish your capabilities.
Depending on the skill spreads and number of signups, we may break the tourney into two divisions.
What are the tourney rules? The tournament will remain mostly casual, with a few rules brought from League to give a taste of what you can aspire to.
1. Arriving 20 minutes late for your Bo3 is an automatic forfeit.
2. All players must run ESL during their games for proper scoring.
3. Players may take no more than 10 minutes break between their games.
4. The games will be best of 3, single elimination with no losers bracket.
5. Maps are chosen using the #rollmap channel in the Elite Mod Discord.
6. For the first game, the top bracket picks hero first. In subsequent games, the winner picks first. Heroes can be picked multiple times.
7. Each player has one hero veto per best of 3. However, the veto only lasts one game, and must be announced right after the hero is picked.
What if I soundbug? A soundbug in the first five minutes of the game will result in a reset. After 5 minutes, if the players cannot come to an agreement as to who was winning, the ref will decide. Should the ref be uncertain, the game will be replayed. Should total crashes reach 3 in a single match, any further crashes count as automatic losses.
