2. What to do on the day of the tournament
1/ Be present in the Steam Group Chat of the MRT Steam group
a) Why is it needed?
- Referees contact each participant personally through group chat to bring him or her inside the room where he or she belongs.
- This process cannot be done without you being present in MRT Steam group chat.
- You run a dangerous risk of the organizer deeming you not present if the referee reports that you cannot be found in the group chat.
- Do not turn off the group chat because major announcements will be made there such as which room to enter.

b) How do one join it?
- Group Name: DoW II Elite Monthly Rumble tournament!
- Group Link: http://steamcommunity.com/groups/dow2emrt
- In order to join the Steam group, copy paste above link into any Steam chat box and click on the pasted link. Clicking on the pasted link transfers you to the main page of the said Steam group. You join the group from that page which will unlock in turn the button to get into the group chat.
- In order to enter the group chat, simply visit the MRT group page and hit Enter chat room button through a logged in Steam account.

c) How do one get back in to the group chat if one accidentally close down the chat box?
- There are two ways to get back into it. First way is to use the Steam main screen. Open up big Steam screen and put your cursor on top of your ID tab which is located on the top side of the screen next to COMMUNITY tab. That will bring down a list of menus and you click on GROUPS menu from the list. From the list of groups that appears, click on MRT group.
- Second way of getting back into it is by using the friend list pop up screen. You will find GROUP CHATS bar at the bottom of your friend list pop up screen. Drag it upwards to see all group chats you are currently in.

2/ Download ESL Reporter and remember to turn it on before launching the game.
a) Why is it needed?
- It is needed for solving disputes that may arise due to players crashing during matches.
- It is also used to provide replay evidences that each match actually happened.

b) What does it do?
- ESL auto saves and uploads replays of games you play or watch into forum's server.
- Anyone can download replays from the server and watch them by putting them inside playback folder.
(My Document -> My Games -> Dawn of War II -> Retribution -> Playback)
- Replays can be found at the below link.

c) How do one get it?
- When you download from the above link, you will be given a zip file.
- When you unzip it, you will receive a folder with an exe program included in it. This folder can be placed anywhere.
(CAUTION) Some people get confused with patch link present in the same page. The one under Elite Reporter add-on app is the correct download link. Should be easy to distinguish due to far smaller file size shown on the download button.

d) How do one use it?
- Execute the exe program in the folder before you launch the game and that is all you have to do to run ESL Reporter.
- When you restart the game, you should also restart ESL Reporter.

3/ Check Bracket Page and Participant List
a) What are Bracket Page and Participant List for?
- Bracket Page is the page that tells who fights who in which order in a tournament.
- Participant List is where you see who belongs to which team and each participant's registered hero picks.

b) Why are there 3 links for Bracket Page and Participant List?
- Players are divided into Divisions(A, B, C). Thus, Bracket Page and Participant List exist separately for each Division.
- Rules regarding Divisions and placing players into Bracket Page can be found in the below link.
(viewtopic.php?f=14&t=6506)

c) Where can one find them?
- Bracket Pages and Participant Lists are provided in the respective sign up page for that tournament.

d) It is near tournament start time. Why are they largely empty?
- Starting from 30 minutes before the tournament start, editing referees start to edit Bracket Pages and Participant Lists.
- It may take awhile to input all signed up teams so please be patient.
- Those pages tend to change a lot due to last minute sign ups. Make sure to refresh them often to see changes made to them.

4/ Follow assigned referee's instructions
- Rooms cannot proceed without a referee assigned by the organizer.
- The assigned referee will personally contact you through Steam. You need to be in group chat in order for this process to work.
- The list of referees can be found at the sign up page.

3. What to do when you cannot make it to the tournament
- Following below procedures is extremely important because other players participating in the tournament will suffer various inconveniences due to organizing delays. Not following below procedures will cause a huge delay in tournaments.
1) Edit your sign up post to show that you can no longer participate if you made a sign up post.
2) Directly message the organizer through either Steam or Discord.
- If you do not have access to your computer, use SMART PHONE APP for Steam or Discord to message the organizer.

4. What to do when you have to leave during the tournament
- Following below procedures is extremely important because other players participating in the tournament will suffer various inconveniences due to organizing delays. Not following below procedures will cause a huge delay in tournaments.
- Directly message the organizer through either Steam or the Discord as soon as you realize something has happened.
- If you lost access to your computer, use SMART PHONE APP for Steam or Discord to message the organizer.

5. Observing
- Only signed up players can observe games and only when the organizer give them permission. Contact the organizer either on Steam or Discord for the permission or ask the hosting referee to relay the message.
- The organizer pretty much always grant permission to watch for all signed up players so feel free to ask for permission in any room.
- You should leave if there are no spots left for streamers or when one of the players exercises the observing slot purge right.
- Non signed up players cannot observe games. Report to the referee or the streamer hosting the room if you see one.

6. Player Rights
- Any participating player can exercise below rights during a tournament.

1/ Observer Slot Purge Right
- Players have the right to kick all observers and streamers. Even if only one player requests it, the referee must kick all observers and streamers from the room.
- Participating players can exercise this right anytime during a tournament by messaging the hosting referee.

2/ YouTube Cast Privacy Right
- Players have the right not to get casted on YouTube.
- Participating players can exercise this right any time during a tournament by messaging the hosting referee who will relay the message to the organizer. However, it has to be exercised before leaving the tournament. The last chance a player gets for exercising this right is when the organizer gives a farewell message to that player after the last game of that player concludes on either Steam or Discord.
- When requested, the organizer will not provide replays of all matches in which the requested person played in to YouTube Casters.
- Furthermore, the organizer warns YouTube Casters whom he has contacts with to not cast replays from the tournament that involves that player and if videos already got uploaded, will request them to take them down.
^(CAUTION)
- If a YouTube Caster refuses to respect this right, there is nothing the organizer can do.
- If replays in question are sent a long time after the tournament they originated from concludes, YouTube Casters are likely to forget and the organizer won't have time to take care of them.
