Suggest capping to 1 squad. If you have 2 sent towards you at once there's nothing you can do if you have any ranged units and it's an incredibly cheap price for the Nid to pay in order to win an engagement.

Just accept them as nid global. Especially considering that they dont have any "fight changer" globals at all.

If your opponent engages with them you should back off a little, sure you concede a bit of terrain while killing them (and maybe you'll lost a VP or something) but then you can attack and this way they're not as cost effective for nids.

As SM Force barrier is nice against them. Coupled with plasma devs for family fun.
