Unfortunately trying to cut the trenchcoats to the knee really didn't work due to the nature of the model I was trying to edit. So they are a bit shorter than I would have liked.

However it does help to distinguish them from Krieg a little more - which I think is important given in game most of the time your going to be viewing them from a distance.

The prophecy say that, one day, someone brave enough will make a Tempestus Scion model to substitute the Stormtrooper.

Sterling! I cannot thank you enough for your work on steel legion. Your work brings my eyers to tears and heals the spirit of a soldier confined to bed in sickbay. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Truly the Emperor smiles upon you this day.

;_; Thank you!

Is it possible to give Commissar Lord pistol a Storm Bolter visual change just as some fan service? No stats changed. This would take place when the power claw is equiped.
Not trying to be pushy.

EDIT

Repost: WOuld it be possible to make a CLEAR difference between the Guardsman Commissars and The actual Commissar Lord Hero? I for one wish to see hero as "you know who" Hero of Armageddon.

A clue: Read my name.

It would be possible, but not as part of a replacer skin pack. Thats something that has to be integrated into the game/mod itself.
Free Booterz Warboss and Ultramarines Force Commander for example have different weapon skins than their vanilla counter parts.

A possible solution might be making the Storm Bolter a fixed part of the model. But ofcourse then the muzzle flash would quite add up.

Edit: thinking about it, if you were to fuse the StormBolter together with the Claw Model, it might even be possible for him to keep his auto pistol with all the other loadouts.

Reminds me, was working on a fortress of arrogance skin ages ago. Never found the time to finish it.

Nice work there, I could probably have a go at adding the skull and the pulpit to it if you think its ready enough for release. I'm away for a while at the moment though so no rush.

Also could try and get some Mordian stuff together if you have the chance.

He will.... Next update has so many DLCs comming long with alot of new changes and stuff.
When he came to me to ask of my opinion of something, not sure should I reveal so I choose not to, he also told me the list of new DLCs being added when I asked about the update. I cannot recall how many exactly but it came to me to call the update "Call To Arms" and Caeltos saw eye to eye with it.

I cannot wait for the update though. I'd hope the DLCs would be added ahead of time of the ballance and feature update.

DLC update, make it happen! 8-)

Why call it "Call to Arms" update? Because so many new "armies" join the call for war.

Nice work - will give them a download when I get home to properly check them out.

If you have the time would you consider working on some Harlequin models?

That's the pack I'm going to try and focus on now.

You mean a retexture or an entirely new model? I could do a banshee based harlequin model some time in the future. Though I intended a Striking Scorpion as my next project. I know they're not in the game and the chances they will be aren't high, but I could eventually give the models to the Codex Edition team since they don't have proper ones.

It could just be some new assets to fit over or add to the existing Harlequin models - there are lots of new Eldar (including Striking Scorpions) in Caid's Harlquin mod - it can be found here http://forums.relicnews.com/showthread.php?264325-CR-Ret-Harlequin-Mod-update-0-5

Even if Elite aren't going to add new models as actual units they can be added as "DLC".

In light of the new Gitz models I had a go at adding some of their look to the ones in the mod. Suggestions welcome as usual...

The heraldry on the back is a real nice addition, very fluffy. More horns would be a nice addition; flash gitz love horns.

Uhm, yeah, fan made conversions...

Horns, beside beeing quite generic with orks, are usually something you see on Nobz, Bosses and Goff Orks.

Flash Gitz are usually related to Bad Moonz or Freebootaz and mostly depicted as either Pirates or Pimps, as they are are considered to be the richest of Orks.
So, if anything, you're more likely to see them wear hats, than horns.
Also long coats, grotz, gold and teeth, high tech equipment and colourful trophy racks.

What? Why would the head be too small?
Unless Sterling resized it, and I see no indication that he did, its as big as any other head in the game.

Think the Model looks perfect.
Makes me wish though I hadnt tried to paint on these horrible purity seals back in the day. -eh-

Excellent.
The internal battery has run dry, the game can now be played. However, clock based events will no longer occur.

either the head is too small for that body or it's to high off the shoulders. he looks like a balloon stuck on the headless horseman right now.

It's pretty much exactly the same size as the original head.

I know this because I kept the original head in 3dsmax in order to ensure they were the same size.

It does protrude forward less that the stormtrooper helmet, but I think it could just be accentuating the large collar on the model therefore making the head look smaller to you.

It looks strange because the armor in the torso is really... fat.
It looks exactly like the original model to me. The model is strange.

I'm sure that if he give them the some armor on the legs like the one the Lord General have, it will look normal to us.
